I can’t log in (email or password issues)

Learn about what issues can prevent you from logging in to your client portal and how to address them.

I remember email I used to register

If you’ve forgotten your password but remember the email you used to register, reset the password:

1. Go to the TaxDome home page and click Login at the top right of the screen.

2. Click Forgot password.

3. Enter your email address and click  Get reset link. A password reset link will be sent to your email.

4. Find the email in your inbox and click the  Reset password link in the message. If you have several accounts in the client portal, you can reset each account's password. Note: The link will expire in 24 hours.

5. Create a new password for the account. It should contain at least 8 characters, one letter and one number. Enter the password twice to confirm and click Set new password

Your password will be updated, and you will be redirected to your account.

Note: If you are prompted to enter a verification code, but you don't have one, go to the detailed article on 2FA verification

I can't find password reset link in my mailbox

Here's what you can do:

  • Check your email address. Carefully review your email address to ensure there are no typos or mistakes, such as missing letters or incorrect punctuation.
  • Check the Spam folder. If you haven't received our emails, check spam in your email inbox.
  • Whitelist our email. Sometimes, email providers block automatic messages from the system, considering them "unknown." To resolve this, add the email address security@taxdome.com to your email whitelist and try requesting the password reset link again.

I don't remember email I used to register

If you don’t remember the email you used to register or you get the error message when trying to reset your password, contact your accountant.

I locked out of my account

If you’ve exceeded the maximum number of attempts (10) to sign in by repeatedly entering the wrong password, you’ll be locked out of your account for 30 minutes and notified.
